Standing on the Side of Love
by West Shore members

February 13, 2011

This morning we re-imagine Valentine's day as a day about a larger love that reaches out to all human brokenness. Standing on the side of love, putting feet and hands on that larger love, can be a profound spiritual practice and expression of faith in human possibility.

Speakers are April Stoltz, Pam Smith, Victor Ruiz, and Nickie Antonio.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner by Queers and Allies

June 27, 2010

In this service we will ask, “What is an Ally?” and “What moves that person to stand with another through hardship when being a bystander is an option?" We will explore the important role that straight allies play in how gay people are accepted and respected in our church and in our communities. Together, both gay and straight, using poetry and song and stories, we will share how being and having loving and supportive allies helps all of us to live our UU principles.
