It takes a lot to build and gain trust, especially as teenagers grow and see their friends change, become more aware of the current social and economic climate, and enter the working world. Find out what trust means to the youth in the congregation as they navigate through schools, church, spiritual lives, social justice activities, and their community. Our youth will discuss who and what they trust and how it will help shape their future worldview.

Worship Leaders Home is the base where everything begins. The youth will share their stories of what home means to them. How does home offer safety and support during times of trouble? Can home be more than your family?

Youth Sunday Service: UU Identity

Youth Sunday Service: UU Identity

May 23, 2010

The tradition of the Youth Sunday Service is to give the ninth through twelfth grade youth of our church a broad canvas to present their ideas. This year is no exception as the youth put their talents, ideas and hearts into a presentation that explores the nature of UUism for youth. It is an opportunity to share some of what they explored this year in terms of their developing spirituality. Most importantly, it is a great chance to see these youth in a fun, energetic and thought-provoking life.
