West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church

Saving Gay Lives
by Worship Associate Tom Hughes

June 25, 2012

Pride Sunday celebrates how West Shore saves "Gay Lives." The Welcoming Congregation Program, first launched in 1990, was a completely volunteer program for UU congregations that wanted to take intentional steps to become more welcoming and inclusive of peple of all sexual orientations and gender identities. This year West Shore celebrates the 19th anniversary of our commitment as a Welcoming Congregation. Join us and witness a team of testimonials celebrating the web of life of which LGBT persons are included as an integral part. Hooray for West Shore!
