Most of us don't carry around lucky rabbit's feet or search to find four leafed clovers, but we might say "bless you" when someone sneezes or avoid booking a room on the 13th floor. We may not realize it but these old superstitions are based on real fears; many of them useless but some serve a purpose. Do the things we fear the most serve any purpose in our daily life or like superstitions are they something to be discarded?
