In an Emily Dickinson poem she states, "Forever is com-posed of Nows." Whether we talk of forever as a promise or a firmly held belief in what "always" means, we can see the inherent risks of this being our absolute. Yet, why then do we dig in our heels and insist that we will love or live indefi-nitely when we are assured the opposite? This Sunday's service will challenge that belief, assist us in taking stock of the "NOW" and perhaps open us up to exploring "beyond forever.”
